Peyton sat in that one college pub she liked, expecting the night to end soon. When she stood next to her Professor at the bar they got talking and she saw an opportunity to make a lasting impression on a scholar, which in her mind was never a bad idea. After a couple of coincidental run-ins, a shared fondness for wine, cigarettes, coffee and some flirting she is fully caught up in a situation she would have never foreseen in her wildest dreams.
This is only a very short story, not a short story in the sense of genres though.
