It was in the middle of the Second Era that the Plague struck down the West - a region left decimated in the aftermath of the Warlord Brutus' rampage. The Plague was a horrible thing - it twisted most into horrific monsters nothing short of the most depraved demon's lusts and killed many others. The devastation was untold and the West was barricaded to hold the contagion back, even the highest powers at Amber Rock unwilling to send aid.
