Incandescence

A couple of months is all that twenty-two-year-old Maya has to hold on to before graduation and financial stability set in. Friendless, socially withdrawn, yet academically brilliant, she uses this strength as a distraction from the depression induced by the recent passing of her mother, her emotionally abusive fiancé and one incident which she had hidden from everyone for seven years.
Until she meets thirty-seven year-old Brian who breaks through her boundaries, and inadvertently realizes his own which expose him to the frightening nature of his vulnerability.
Complexities and friendships arise. But with them, a question of how much each is willing to give up when the borderline between friendship and romance becomes too thin.
