The 'It' Boy: The Original 2015 Draft by DelaneyBrenna
20 parts Complete
*BEFORE READING* Note that this is the ORIGINAL draft of my completed novella 'A Side Effect of Celebrity' (formerly named 'The It Boy'. I've kept the original title for this original draft). This draft of the novella was written in 2015 and is in a VERY different style than how I currently write. I've completely rewritten this novella and published it in 2021. That new version is currently complete and available on my profile. Due to requests from readers to see the old draft, I've reposted this old version. Please do not bother to point out spelling/grammar issues or plot holes in this version as I will not EVER be editing this draft. For those who are opening this novella for the first time and have not read the revised 2021 draft, I STRONGLY encourage you to read that version instead of this one. Many of my novels have characters that overlap and appear in multiple books and that is the case for The It Boy. I want to point out that this draft of The It Boy does NOT fit with my other books in terms of timeline or character depictions (it only links to the 2015 draft of Out of Tune, also posted on my profile). In a way, you could think of this book as an alternate timeline to my other novels. *** Claire Shaffer has everything she needs in life. Her parents are awesome, she's graduated with honours and she's ready for a summer of fun with her two best friends before getting serious at college. Yet when her fun leads her into the path of Hollywood A-List actor Jay Dawson, Claire's simple summer goes in a direction she never thought it would lead.
Barking Mad by SmlAlwaysOriginal
7 parts Complete Mature
Third book after Jaime, and Angelica. Angelica's sons are grown and they are meeting their mate. He had an idea, that was all. He wanted to help his people as a whole. He didn't think he'd be the first to try it out. His life was turned upside down, but maybe that was a good thing. But how does he cope with mates that are more wolf then man? It's hard to have a relationship when your mates don't talk much. (Told from Blake and Andrews mates point of view.) Excerpt: Okay, I admit that this was my idea but, I didn't think that Alpha would send me. Yes, pack exchange would help to freshen packs. Blood, minds, get packs that were stagnant and stuck decades in the past to move forward. I recommended enforcers, warriors and Omega's, positions that would do the most good. I was none of those. I was just a random beta with barely the wolf to keep my position and not fall down a rank. But my alpha said that the other packs were not so keen on doing it. So he was going to lead by example. All known packs were put into a database by the council and random generators paired packs to exchange people. Since alpha wanted to lead, we were first to get paired. We got paired with a pack across the country. My flight out had been uneventful thankfully. Most of my things had been shipped, I had two suitcases of things I was wheeling toward the exit of the airport. Supposedly this pack had sent someone to pick me up. I'm almost to the door when I hear my name called.
