"No. Do not say that. That's far from the truth, okay? You are real. You are real to your mother, real to your sister, real to me. You are a man in everyone's eyes. Let that be true, even in your own eyes." ---- Going to a new school can be rough for anyone, but for someone who had been bullied and ridiculed for years on end, it seems impossible. With no self-esteem and anxiety to go around, Noah doesn't think the move is going to help, but he's willing to try anything. Though, the cute boy in homeroom does seem to make life a little easier. Adrien Moore was the popular quiet kid. He didn't really talk to many people, and only had a few 'friends' - if that's what you'd like to call them. They didn't actually know anything about Adrien, or his home life. They didn't know about his brother. The one person that changed that for him was Noah. //WARNING: This story contains mentions of self harm, suicidal thoughts, panic attacks, rape, and seizures. Read at your own discretion. //

Jude doesn't talk. He can't, even when he wants to. They don't want to hear what he has to say, and they only use their words to hurt him. So why even try anymore? Starting at a new school seems like the perfect opportunity to blend into the background, but it isn't far enough away to start over. Some people just won't let him forget about his past. The teachers don't understand. He can't tell them why. He can't say anything at all. Ross understands. Ross writes to him. Slowly, he pulls Jude out of his shell, waiting for him to say something. ----- Say Something is a story of overcoming fear with the help of friendship and love. As someone who has struggled with anxiety, I tried to do something a little different with my writing style this time by including a lot of thoughts and feelings rather than a ton of description and detail. I'd like to add that it mentions things like sex and violence but I don't plan on going into any graphic detail in this story. There is also occasional cursing. I hope you give it a chance and leave feedback for me as I post new chapters over time. Thank you so much for checking it out!
