I do not own ANY of the characters except for one. 

The OC is Xiao Mei-Yin. She died when she was a baby but her mother prayed for her soul to be brought back. But, it had a price and the soul that returned was not the same soul. It was not Mei-Yin. It was an Evil being that once plagued the land for centuries. That's why she got the name Goddess of Destruction. Now, she is living inside the body of a lunatic girl having befriended a lunatic boy. 

I hope you understand more on this. The Monk is the "founder" of the GusuLan Sect but she established the basic rules and then threw them away because she was bored.
