How do you deal with two brothers, a sister who your parents think can do no wrong, and on top of that, a baby brother or sister on the way? Jessalynn and her siblings receive diaries "journals" from their parents, and have to write in it. The reason for this project? To give to the new baby and when it gets older, it can use them as survival guides. The baby sure does need them. Jessalynn shows her life through the diary in hopes of her new sibling to learn the ways of her.
