University freshmen Kat Harrington has had enough.
She is tired of stories. Tired of the entertainment industry, that has the slow metabolism of a cow. And she is tired, because if there is one trope she can not hear one more time, it's the bad boy extravaganza.
So in a very drunk, but very clear headed moment she decides: No more leather jackets, no more tattoos. No one needs fancy sports cars, motorcycles, and egos that are bigger than the moon. She is not going to fall for any of it, not the hypnotizing eyes, or the rogue hero attitude, not even for the the part where all bodies are shaped like those of Greek gods. Because, why?
Being the exceptional but slightly eccentric student that she is, Kat decides to demolish the bad boy phenomenon with one critical, analytical and well informed strike: A thesis.
And where better to begin a work of academic genius than in the halls of the university. Accompanied by her new friends and acquaintances, she sets out to investigate the lives of her fellow students, to discover the real, human abysses behind the bad boy phenomenon.
What she discovers has the potential to change not only her life forever. Did she really know, what she was getting herself into? No. But what would a scientific adventure be without a good challenge?
