A land of Sinners
An Ol' timey story about the good old days in the west as one man cannot rest after his wife's death. filled with vengeance he tells a story of how he avenges his wife and captures its killer. Along the way, he meets his friends who share their experiences too of how it would be in the Wild West and their very own struggles. Little do they know, their extent to avenge such someone will bring out the worst of man. Each stepping being harder and harder as it progressed more in the west. Each goal getting more desperate or more drunk. Their goals were clear but was their conscience? I've had fun writing this as it uses a bit of common language but I hope you all have fun reading this as much as I did. (Preferable to read in a souther accent)
Saddle Dust
Casey Long is an outlaw with a storied past and troubles finding her at every turn. When she is shot in a saloon during what some townsfolk describe as a random attack, Casey remembers some very important details from her childhood which ultimately lead her down a trail she hasn't walked in years. Along the way, Casey loses family and finds it again all the while trying to make a living off of the banks and innocent passersby she robs, usually with a bottle of whiskey nearby. It's a modern twist on old western literature tradition, but frankly, it's just more badass. ;) If you're a fan of Red Dead Redemption (#sadieadler), then this story is for you. Trouble at Saddleback Creek
Snakeskin McMurtry was a deadly gunfighter who hated killing. The last thing he wanted was trouble, but trouble always seemed to find him. Whether it was family, promises he had to keep, or posses, he always seemed to end up in a gunfight. He figured that if he got enough money to buy a big ranch, he could get out of going on the posses anyway. The ways he got the money weren't quite legal and were always dangerous. And that meant more trouble. Then there was the girl. She was the one for him all right. They both knew it. She was a ranch woman with brains, character, beauty and plenty of sand. She saved him more than once. But. She could not stand the idea of loosing another man in a gunfight. She wanted him to give up his ranch, move east, and become a counter jumper! He couldn't do that. Because of what happened to him when he was a kid, he couldn't take a sissy job. Then things got worse. A mad range war threatened and a gang of outlaws with a grudge showed up.
