In an attempt to normalise his quickly-escalating career, Elijah Wood goes back to Iowa for a normal semester of high school at Drain Creek High School. Elijah stays with his dad while his mom goes back and forth between L.A. and attends a regular high school for a whole semester. While there, he realises his crush on former kindergarten fling, Stefanie Morris, and plans on asking her to the school dance. On a warm Saturday afternoon, his mom makes him volunteer for a kindergarten class's 'Story Time' event. What starts as an innocent story time gathering turns into an opportunity for new friends and fancies when Mary-Anne, Felix, Mark, Sally, Harvey, and Tristan-the six kids that Elijah babysits-end up helping him get what he wanted all along: an opportunity to prove himself to the school bully and to ask out the girl that he loves. Who knew kindergarten could be so multifaceted?

"Do they not say that a good friendship builds on a ground of lies?" I joke, lightening the mood immediately as his green eyes glint in humor and a smirk falls on his familiar lips. "Do you kiss a lot of your friends, love?" The underlying tones threaten to provoke a blush on my cheeks, but I get myself together. Smirking at him, "Well, of course, is that not the norm?" *********** Dakota Moore is the perfect example of a beautiful disaster. Her wisdom is ready to knock anyone down, her self worth is an exact replica of the way her father raised her, and her pain so intense it screams over every building. She refuses to show anyone what's going on behind closed doors, especially when her lovely father gets the traumatic news that he has an incurable disease. Elijah Black is the spur of the moment kind of guy, he's the one no one ever settles with because of his angry outbursts and rude ways. Even though he throws everyone off, except for when they want sexual advances, he still can't help but feel enthralled by the freckled girl who's hiding so many secrets behind a fake smile. As they clash and try to reject the obvious rush, will they accept their attraction, or is everything just too much? After all, how can two ruined teenagers manage a youthful love without destroying themselves in the process? "Come on Austin. Please delete the video!" "No way." He smirks, "That'll be too easy." "What do you want from me?" "I need you to be my fake girlfriend." "What! No way in hell." "Fine then I'll just send this to everyone in school." "Okay fine I'll do it," I roll my eyes and he smirks, "but there's rules." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Emma Princeton(18 years old) is a normal teenage girl except she's lost a lot and has a shocking past that only a few people know about. She's not a nerd, although she gets good grades, she has a lot of friends but she's not one of the "populars". Austin King(also 18 just a couple months older), the schools bad boy. The top one in the "populars" group. He's known for dating girls for a day or two then breaking their hearts and tossing them to the side. Never thinking about them again. But what happens when Emma finds herself in a situation where Austin has a certain leverage over her and needs a fake girlfriend that's presentable to his mother and not one of his usual flings? What happens when Emma agrees, will they fall in love? Or will he just use her and break her heart like all the other girls that he's dated? There's a thin line between love and hate.
