University of Southern California college graduate, Aubree Parks, has had quite the roller-coaster for a life. Fresh out of college, she began her life as a Marriage Counselor. Of course, having this job had its perks- she was well paid and could afford to have anything she wanted, but she suffered from desolation. Desperate to keep her mind off of her loneliness, she takes on couple in dire need of marital counseling. It was in this private office setting that she met heart-throb Chresanto August. The two spent lots of time together outside of the office, becoming closer with each day. The pair develop a strong love for each other, causing Chresanto to divorce his then-wife, Mya.
Starting out in a naive relationship, Chresanto and Aubree become inseparable. As their love continues to grow throughout time, things start to go fast for the young couple, resulting in Aubree conceiving a baby. At the same time, Aubree discovers that the man she believes to be her true love, is a notorious drug-lord. Aubree tries to convince Chresanto to leave the dangerous world that he lives in, only to push him farther away. Chresanto leaves, declaring that he wasn't ready to be a father, forcing Aubree to provide for herself and her unborn baby.
Time passes and Aubree has delivered a healthy and handsome baby boy she names Kyle. Living a comfortable life with nothing to worry about, Aubree and her baby are doing just fine by themselves. But what happens when Kyle's dead-beat, drug-lord of a father runs into them and decides that he wants to step up and be a father to his son? Will Aubree allow him to work his way back into both of their lives or will he just be a burden to everyone?
