Agent Eliza Evans was used to the busy streets of London and the city's regular and mostly similar cases. But after she made a horrible mistake in her previous case her boss sends her to Aelfricshire, a small suburban village near Dover, or in Eliza's opinion: the most bloody boring place on earth, you could ever imagine. That is until she does find something, or someone, that catches her attention: Grace Watson, a fair haired beauty and also Aelfricshire's police officer. While Eliza makes it her first priority to 'subtly' flirt with the other woman, besides trying to get back to her beloved London, the murder of Alice Jones, everyone's sweetheart, disturbs the lazy cottage and soon it's inhabitants no longer trust each other, which makes it harder for Grace and Eliza to catch the murderer...
❝ Keep it up, and you will be a strange smell in the attic, soon ❞ ,Eliza Evans.
A/N: I don't work for the police so some things might be different from the solving of real cases but I tried my best. Plus there might be some grammar mistakes (nobody is perfect besides Katie McGrath, ok) and, obviously, the main characters are lesbians so if you have a problem with the LGBT+ community you're more than allowed to leave!
