Micah Beauchamp is a charismatic sixteen year old boy attending his second year in high school. For Micah, everything seems great, popularity, a large group of friends, loving parents, and even a amazing boyfriend. But all this ends when Micah is attacked, only to rise as a vampire. Fighting an insatiable thirst, the newborn vampire meets the famous Cullen family. All seems well until Micah discovers a power never heard of before, the ability to control minds, both human and vampire alike. The news of Micah's gift spreads throughout the vampire community, enticing the curiosity of the vultori, and ultimately, Aro.
