Dr. ◼️◼️◼️◼️ has made many requests of the same nature, experiments "to see the softer side of SCPs," although because of the many flaws in his requests, they have all been denied and/or deemed "too risky." Until, he finally made one that O5 agreed could work, "Just like all my other requests, I would like to make an SCP and human child live within close quarters of one another, knowing one another's existence and coexisting. The SCP used would be SCP-049, this is because he can not easily break containment and has already shown empathy to humans. The human child used would be an orphan that is 4 or 5 years old. The experiment would last for 14 years, and will take place in one room, in the middle of the room will be a wall of bulletproof glass. The other walls will be made of ◼️◼️◼️◼️, and will have tiny holes that are within one centimeter of one another to allow fresh air into the rooms. On one wall will be two doors that can only be opened, locked, and seen from the outside. In both sides of the rooms, there will be the essentials for both participants of the experiment. When replacing anything, the participants must be gassed with ◼️◼️◼️◼️, putting both participants of the experiment to sleep. The results I hope to achieve from this experiment is to find out what is the plaque SCP-049 speaks of and what his values and morals are, as well as to see if he could deeply care for another living being in a (mostly) sane way. I hope to speak more about this during a meeting."
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."

Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
