Our Summer : My Truth
I am broken And now that you see, what you've allowed to happen to me The evils you have forced into my existence Self-serving evils now defying you with such persistence You try to cover up your lies Dangling hope in front of my eyes ~~~ I write to inspire others and to find a piece of myself that was lost or I never knew I had. The Art of Unloving
Love is beautiful, intoxicating, and all-consuming-until it isn't. When she first met him, the world seemed to realign, as if every moment before had been leading her to him. Their love was the kind that existed in stolen glances, whispered promises, and the soft hum of a song playing in the background of their most intimate moments. But love, as she learned, does not always stay. And when it leaves, it takes pieces of you with it. Now, with nothing left but memories and an aching heart, she turns to the one thing that has never abandoned her-her words. Through the pages of her journal, she unravels the story of their love, tracing the moments that built them and the ones that broke them. I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences.
