Helena and her adoptive mother are always fighting because she wants Helena to join her local Serpent group and lead it while Helena wants nothing more than to be a writer. The only reason she has kept up with her adoptive mother is because of her sister. But when she finally has a shot on making her dream come true, Helena chooses the risk. But she discovers a lot more than she had ever imagined.
