Sapphire is your normal teenage girl, except she doesn't go to normal high school. Instead she goes to a school full of demons, and she wants to stay in the shadows. Her dad wants her to rule the school. He says it's good practice, but what else can you expect from himself when he wants his daughter to be the heir to the underworld.
