In a world divided up into five factions: Candor (the honest), Amity (the peaceful), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave) and Erudite (the intelligent), Lauren Cimorelli finds out that she is a Divergent and doesn't fit into one particular faction.
It is up to her to make sure nobody finds out who she really is as this can lead to her death. Which faction will she choose to try and keep her identity low? But, most importantly, what will happen when someone DOES find out? Will she eventually be found one night on the ground, covered in a pool of her own blood? Or, will she be protected from every bullet that comes across her way?
(Note: I do not own Divergent. The plot and some of the dialogue from this fanfiction comes from Veronica Roth's "Divergent". This will mostly be in Lauren and Dani's POVs).

This is the second book of I am dauntless tetralogy. Jade made it through initiation, so did Four. But they are not as close as they were at the beginning. Both have drifted apart into their own life's at dauntless. Jade is with Eric. They both take leadership at dauntless as Jade also trains initiates seasonally. Two years have passed and a new Stiff catches Jade's eye. She notice something different with Four, he comes around as you both train the initiates. But so does the new stiff.
