Her father had called her name when she came home. She had walked down the old wooden planks they called stairs into his workshop. He had shown her a new animatronic.
"Her name is Circus Baby."
"Who is she for?"
"She's your's."
Her eyes had lighten up with excitement as she reached for the robot, her father had stopped her, grabbing her wrist.
"She's not finished yet."
With a quizzical stare, Mia nodded and headed back upstairs. William looked towards a box near the corner of the workshop, there sat a tall, lanky puppet of sorts. His chest had a sort of rib cage coming from his chest, a lazy smile on its face. Sharp fangs neatly arranged at its top and bottom lip, black lipstick. Two black streaks ran down his eyes, stopping at his smile, two white dots stared back at William.
"So?" It spoke, its voice high pitched, low, a low growl but a scream, it was strange.
"Almost."
The creature grinned wider, "I knew you'd come around, Mr. Afton."
In which, a 15 year old signs up to play the games, unknowing of the friendships she'd make and the people she'd lose.
