A spark flourished between them and they were deeply in love. While the Pines family did not approve of the relationship, Dipper did not allow that to stop him. The only thing that would tear the two apart was death. Tragically, that is exactly what happened. Bill was left a broken mess after Dipper's death and was determined to uncover the truth of his lover's demise.
