Dawn is a mishciveous girl. She is 15, and lives in a quiet little neighborhood. No one really talks to her, and no one really enjoys her presence around. She either gets scolded or ignored when she tries to talk to someone. Anytime she says something, some people snicker at her for the way she talks. She's normal just like everyone else. But people see her as the 'emo' of the school, so she basically gets ignored. Things have been like this ever since she started middle school at White Oak. She had only a few friends that enjoyed her being. They were Sora, Harley, and Athena. But what happens at their dance is truly frightening.

"I'm so sorry, Casey," he said, pleading for my forgiveness. I'd been avoiding his intense gaze for the entirety of the conversation, but I looked into his eyes as I said: "I just want to know; why me?" ---------- Casey Hall is a simple girl, leading a complicated life and it only gets worse when she encounters Jeremy Storm and his elite group of friends. Each attractive, athletic, and... well, attractive, it's impossible for Casey to keep their lives separate. Once Casey learns that the driving factor for their friendship was a childish bet she finds herself incredibly hurt, but is it enough to pull her away from the one she loves? **probably not the ending you're expecting- If you want some sappy optimism you should find another book**
