In 1998, Arson Dwight was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Six years later, in a mental asylum he tells his friend Dave the tale of how he ended up in the loony bin and how he may have killed his neighbour. Sometimes odious neighbours can drive us to do terrible things.
I attempted this story on my previous account: Colourful_Dreamer but it didn't work. Now I write this again with better expectations and a filthy mouth. You've been warned, the language is vulgar and the irony is extreme.

I bend down to grab it, the problem is that I forgot I'm wearing a robe. A short robe. "Hey kitty, I'm seeing way more skin than I need to." My face begins to heat up. I turn my head to the side at the right angle so he won't see the blushing mess I am right now. Good thing I put on shorts. "You shouldn't be worried about me seeing some skin, afterall, I'm not a pervert, I'm a serial killer. December twentieth is the day I remember being brought into the asylum for the first time. Like any typical psychopath, I screamed. I cried. I remember snatching the nurse's hair until she screamed and I was slapped into unconsciousness and thrown into the room. The only difference? I wasn't a psychopath. For the first few days, I would cry maniacally upon hearing any nurse go by, to catch one's attention and tell her that I wasn't insane. I was walking the rocky paths of the campground on tremulous legs, trying to clear my head of the voices shouting at me. My eyes were blurry and colours were mixing with sounds. I could see sounds, hear colours, my brain whirling as a sense of synesthesia took over. The wind was only a zephyr, but it felt like enough to pick me up and carry me to Oz. The voices were shouting at me, taking over every sense I had. I felt like I was swimming through a tidal wave, and I would never be able to get out of it. Salt water tears falling down my cheeks, and suddenly I was swimming through memories of him, the tears enhancing the stinging pain of his presence, and I don't think I can ever forget that feeling.
