A whole week of hard work was fine because on Friday at 12 o'clock I was going to have my moment
Moments that you demeaned as stress relievers but in reality you had no stress 
You've been blessed from the time you came out the womb but your ungrateful 
Ungrateful to the point you took your own understandings and created Moments

So I let you have your moments
Moments of I love you 
Moments that you hoped became more than moments 
Moments that made you happy, momentarily 
Moments that were cool until feelings got involved which brought moments of, Pillow Talk
Pillow talking that lead to heart break 
Feelings in place of faith 
Loyalty so shady you can't even see through the fog 

Love turned into hate 
Contentment turned into Jealousy
Vision became so broken 

Those are the moments you wanted so those are the moments I gave you 
Moments of getting high & having sex

MELANCHOLY | Melancholy drips from my fingertips. SOON TO BE A PUBLISHED PAPERBACK. COMING 2025! This melancholy drips from my fingertips so slowly, you begin to forget I even exist. All of me, the hard parts of flesh you could never seem to love, drips down the drain. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again. My suicide had been two years in the making when I decided not to follow through at the last minute. Over the past decade, I've written poems, books, short stories, fanfiction and hundreds of thousands of words, but nothing felt complete. This collection of selected works was meant to be my final offering- the only thing ready for posthumous publication. Blood Orange Periphery includes poems written in the months preceding the end-that-didn't-happen, some of my best teenage scribbles, and journal entries that chronicle the transition from death-planning, to recalibrating life.
