Douglas Knight: World Traveler

Douglas Knight is a world traveler. His job in the travel industry has provided him with many opportunities to scour the globe. His company, WorldTek Event and Travel Management has offices across the country to provide services to universities, corporations, sports teams and more.

Douglas started his life on the west coast. He was born in Albany, OR and attended the University of Oregon. He graduated with a degree in economics and immediately entered the job field. He moved to LA to take a job with American Airlines. This was his first position in the industry, but it lit the travel bug for the rest of his career.

After that, he took jobs in Colorado and NYC and then purchased his first travel business in Greenwich, CT. He has since settled in New Canaan, CT with his wife and his children. He still travels frequently between offices as the CEO of the company for meetings and corporate events.

Douglas has traveled to some of the destinations on his passport for fun, and some for his career. Some of his favorite travel destinations have included:

●St. Tropez
●Hawaii

He has a whole list of places he would like to add to the list including Tangiers, Madrid, and Bordeaux. In retirement, he hopes to travel to more destinations for fun and possibly with his whole family. He enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family and is looking forward to even more during his retirement years.
