The Coffee Shop Down the Street

There was something about that coffee shop
The one down the street and a few blocks from work
One that makes you stop
The coffee was delicious and their pastries a lovely perk

He served customers with his charming smile
Even his co-workers behind the counter did too
People never regret coming and finding time spent worthwhile
Leaving with a satisfied stomach even with a deadline or two

She was never a fan of coffee even if they offered her one
Couldn't down the drink without a grimace on her lips
But as she was dragged to the quaint shop and there it all began
A smile for the sweet drink and a compliment to the barista with a tip

She was an employee swamped with a lot of things to get done
He was a barista who helped people unwind with every cup he served
She stumbled upon the shop with a friend who wanted her to have fun
He gave her her new favorite drink and maybe a love that she deserved

starbucked here with a fresh story... it's my first time writing an [x reader] story so please go easy on me!

if the tags didn't give it away, then this is a [Jungkook x Reader] story, maybe with a bit of [x Taehyung] to it too. it's a [coffee shop au] and i was inspired by @pocketbangtan's story [Blood Ink] |i highly recommend you to read that along with her other works| also specifically the dream the reader gets when she was unconcious where the boys were in a coffee shop |i think it was a coffee shop| and i was suddenly in the mood to write... thus [The Coffee Shop Down the Street] came to life!

the story is inspired by the lovely @pocketbangtan but the plot solely belongs to me. i do the covers and the edits you will be seeing.

i accept criticism for improvement so i'd know where to improve but other than that, i got nothing.
