Adam lives a normal life in LA with his husband Tommy and their five years old daugther. But recently he has behaved strangely. He's coming home late or don't come home at all.

Sometimes Tommy finds expensive clothes in the wardrobe or male perfumes that aren't his. Adam has always a smile on his lips when he get a text message.

It turns out that Adam has had a love affair with another man. Tommy asks for divorce and they go separate ways.

A year later, Adam lives a glamorous life with his new husband in a luxurious mansion.

Tommy lives in an apartment together with Amy and his dog Etta. He works extra at a café to afford food and pay bills. He has also started drinking to cope with the pain.

But the glamorous life has a dark secret. Adam is being beaten daily by his husband. Alan threatens to kill his family if he calls the police.

Adam asks Tommy for help, but he doesn't want to see him. He tells to have fun with his new man and his perfect life. Unaware of what happens behind closed doors.

Everything changes when he receives a call from the hospital. His ex-husband is seriously injured and it's unclear if he'll survive.

Tommy finds out the truth, but the game has just begun.
