For over a hundred years, messenger Duncan has wandered the world, searching for the missing pieces of an amulet that will rid him of his curse; a curse that has burdened him with an extreme intolerance of the cold, an unnaturally long life, and the despair of watching all he knew and loved become lost to the ravages of time. He has seen the world around him change, in parts for the better, sometimes for the worse, and all rather different to how he remembered it. But now, with only one part of the amulet remaining to find, Duncan is close to the end of his long quest.

A North-South Divide charts the final year of Duncan's journey, as he retreads familiar ground, is reunited with old friends, and plays his part in shaping the lives of others.

Primsharah will become the center of a deadly play, with the powers of the gods themselves at stake ... *** Refusing to watch his family crumble beneath the weight of poverty, Arran has resorted to stealing from the rich to provide for his mother and sister. His ability to bend light prevents him from being caught ... until one day, he is. His captors have no intention of turning him in, though, instead making him an offer that he cannot resist, but which will change the course of his future forever. Meanwhile, Princess Serafina, heir to the throne of Primsharah, welcomes an unusual suitor in the royal palace. This stranger brings a dangerous gift for her father: the Sphere of Truths, one of the ten World Artifacts, created by the gods themselves. As the Shah sinks deeper into his obsession with the Sphere, Inna starts experiencing visions about a thief stealing another Artifact, the Amulet of Doom. A deathly curse is bound to the Amulet, and its theft will set in motion a series of events which might destroy Primsharah for good ... and the world along with it. Together, Arran and Inna flee across the desert to find out who is stealing the Artifacts and why. But Arran's time is limited as the curse flows through his veins, with no hope for salvation save for the stubborn princess who is determined to see his survival. Magic, desert and creatures of myth weave a tale of fragile hope, large-scale betrayal and fierce friendship between two people whose fates should never have crossed paths at all.

Of Disappearances and Dragons - Complete

11 parts Complete

Finnian Thysor's younger brother Archibald is a magician. It can often come in quite handy having someone he can turn to for free spells and charms who still owes him for years of brotherly annoyance. However it can just as often cause problems that Finn would rather not have to deal with. Such as when a miscast spell causes Archie to disappear without a trace. And then it isn't long before the magical pleas for help start arriving. So, armed with the name of a beach on the mysterious Arys Isle, Finn sets out to find him. But Arys Isle is a strange place and the people are even stranger. Not to mention the ever present rumour that dragons have been spotted on the Isle once more. -*-*-*- A completed short story/novelette around 11,000 words that I will be updating every few days.
