What do you do when you're a homeless kid on the streets of Gotham? Becoming a criminal is SO straight-forward, so how about something new? Dick Grayson and Wally West, or better known as Robin and Finch, are robbers with a seemingly random pattern and motive. But what happens when a Bat figures out it's not so random, and these teen-aged criminals are not as "bad" as they make themselves out to be? One Young Justice encounter later, and the pair fight for their lives; their lives as either criminals or what they can become. I don't own DC or any references made in this. Wanting to be a superhero and becoming one, are two completely different things. But becoming the opposite? That's way easier. And sometimes it's not on purpose. Fate didn't want me to be a hero. I was a fairly normal girl, growing up in Central City. A city where superheroes and super villains didn't exist... until the particle accelerator exploded. Many people were turned into these metahumans, me being one of them. Likely one of the only changed nine year olds at the time. My parents were both scientists for Star Labs, being two of the many others that died in the blast. Needing to get away, I decided to move to Gotham. A good city to hide in. Maybe it wasn't the best city to move to, but, in the end, I'm glad I did. In the crazy town, I was adopted by the two craziest people there. The Deranged Duo, Harley Quinn and Joker. "Rescued by villains, who knew?" I say. "Villains rescue fellow villains," Joker says. "Sounds funny coming from you," I scoff. "Aww, is that the way you should treat your saviors?" Joker teases. "I could've taken them," I scoff. "Why did you save me?" "We watched you take out the last group of thugs," Harley says. "We've been looking for a protégé, sorta like how Batsy has that sidekick, Robin, was it?" Joker grins. "We like you. You're funny." ... That story is about Kid Flash and Robin in Teen Titans not in Young Justice where they are best friends. The Titans weren't nice to Robin always doing pranks which weren't always nice. One day, they crossed the line, doing a prank about Robin's dead parents. It made him mad, breaking his heart. Bringing Robin's past in a stupid joke for April's Fool wasn't funny it was just mean. Robin started to avoid his teammates, staying in his room when there wasn't any mission and fighting alone when a villain was attacking Jump City. One day, Kid Flash, Robin's biggest rival, decided to pay the Titans a visit. He wanted to upset Robin and believe me, stealing his team was the best way to achieve his goal. Will Robin be upset by Kid Flash's visit or will he give up his team and let his rival be the new leader?
