The earth is in shambles. When a catastrophic event destroys the last farm on Earth, Dorothy is forced to leave her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry with her robotic dog Toto.

Landing on the strange and beautiful planet of Oz, Dorothy accidentally kills the Master of the enslaved Munchkin people, sending her on a journey more dangerous than anything she had ever faced on earth.

Hunted by the Wicked Witch of the West and her flying monkeys, Dorothy teams up with an adroid with unreliable memory storage, a cyborg who is externally more robot than human, and a genetically engineered lion that's intellectual yet cowardly.

Things in Oz are not all stars and yellow brick roads... sinister plots, power struggles, and political turmoil linger in ever nook and cranny of the planet, even the beloved Emerald City... Dorothy and her friends soon find themselves forced to choose sides and learn where their loyalties truly lie.

If I cannot be loved I'll be wanted. "There was basically nothing that the scientists had not altered and played with, changed it's appearance or structure. Directed electricity through it to made it move or to restart a heart, by using machines and generators. The difference was that the Gifted only needed some power of will." "The air in the rooms had grown heavier and hotter, Eliza couldn't breathe. She stood outside the bathroom, in the corner, where the hallway opened to the huge living room where the party was the most alive. Someone had gotten up to the coffee table and was dancing themselves to death. In the middle of the floor there was a honey blond boy with pearls around his neck and five people glued to him, unbuttoning his shirt, kissing his collarbone. " The weight of being expected to do great things had dragged Eliza and Kal down their whole lives. Whilst trying to find comfort to their hurt they manage to unravel truths that were hidden for a reason. And when every hand around you is soaked with unknown blood, who can you trust? The Scientist is the first book out of three to tell this story of young love, power, morality and madness. WARNING! Book rated K16 This book talks about heavy topics such as depression, de@th, child abuse and sèx. It also views over ideologies and religion, politics and other often very different feelings provoking topics. This is not a thing to comment negatively about, you have been informed. This is where the lines between hero and villain blur. Once upon a time, in a distant kingdom in the Rose Valley, there lived a young princess. Maybe a little proud. Maybe she was the sweetest princess. And maybe not. She had many suitors, but she did not accept a single proposal for her hand in marriage. She didn't want to become a king's wife, she wanted to be a queen and rule her country. But one day darkness crept into the happy kingdom. A thick fog crept through the forest. Shadows walked under the treetops. The Shadow Lord came to propose to Princess Luna. She rejected him like everyone else, despite the fact that he was the only one who managed to impress her. However, the Shadow Lord isn't about to give up so quickly. He presents a gift to the princess. For the rest of eternity, at the stroke of midnight, she will die and come back to life with the first rays of day. Again and again. Every night. An endless cycle. Because as the Shadow Lord said, "I will wait for you, even if it takes forever." Old wounds are being opened. The boundaries between worlds are blurring. Do your genes, your parents, teachers, or your master determine who you will be in life? Can they set your value in the universe? 650 years ago the known species of the universe came together and signed the Alliance, a document that would help each race find its place in the universe. It granted freedom to some and the scant protection of slavery to others. Into this society a handful of children are born who will change it forever, if they can survive to adulthood. Here is the origin story of two of those children. Hathu is born to a man determined to make the universe bow to him and his species. No one ever knows the whole story... Nestled deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, something is emerging. Kept in absolute secrecy, it seeps into a fading town, quietly shared from person to person. For Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate, this discovery could mean an escape from his empty existence. To Rachel DuValle, perpetually underestimated and dismissed by the world, magic represents a chance to become something much greater than herself. In the face of an unsuspecting world, their decisions shape the growth of a budding society discovering untold power. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever - or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. ----- The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series.
