Here's a thought: Imagine if The Joker was actually mixed raced? Would the origin story change? If so, then how?

Here's my answer.

The story follows the depressing life of Jackie Napier, whose love for alcohol and gambling cost him dearly; a luxurious home, the affection of his beloved and the chance of living a better, happier life.
After getting fired from work by his incorrigible boss, Jackie is directed by a young university drop-out to the nearest underground casino for his most challenging game ever. However, a discovery of an unknown secret literally sends him over the edge, awakening his suppressed darker side; a persona that will shake the foundations of the entire city; forever.

This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. That being said, if you are not comfortable with this, then skip those parts. I will have them marked, and I will leave subtle hint, so you get the basic gist of what happened. What if Joker had a daughter? One raised by Gotham... She was abandoned. She's angry. She want's revenge. She hates her father... But does this mean she works with the side of the Angels? Well, let's just say, there's a reason her name is Sanity. --Note-- This story is going to be re-written eventually, while this story will be up until the other version is finished (I won't be publishing it until then) this story will be deleted once that is done. There will be notice for that, so you know what is happening, but chances are you may need to re-read the book a second time following this. Especially, since I plan on actually having a sequel to this one complete eventually. --As a side note-- Only 5 characters are my own: Sanity, Ryu, Avalon, Jeremiah, Genevieve. All other characters belong to DC, I cannot stress that enough. In addition to this I have also used actual quotes from the Original Comics for the characters that have said them, as well as used some of the same origins/storylines to give the other characters (DC's) more of an identity e.g. 'Death in the Family' storyline// Where Joker kills Jason... Or 'A Killing Joke' storyline//Barbara getting put in a wheelchair and the Joker's Origin... Finally, the Joker's 'real' name//'Batman Mask of the Phantasm'. There are other parts as well but those are the main ones and a few of the examples. (I don't know if the 'Batman Mask of the Phantasm' is the actual title to the animated movie but it is close enough, I think.) Won 2nd place in the 2015 undiscovered contest.

A Three Jokers Orgin story. So there's been a lot of Joker in the news lately. Lots of debate about giving him an origin story. Should he have one? Should it be multiple choice? Should it be a mystery? Well I'm curious by nature. I love the origin story idea. I'm all in for anything regarding the Joker. So I have partially given my Joker a semi origin story in One Bad Day. But this is going to be a full origin story. Actually it's a 3 Joker's orgin story. It may or may not have similarities to the one in One Bad Day but not much. This will be a totally new adventure for all of us. It will be rather graphic and contain lots of sensitive topics. Be forewarned. Again, I adhere to no specific Joker personality. This story takes place in a universe almost exactly like ours, but angled a little towards the comics branch. A universe where Barry Allen locked up a little early, where the Kryptonian ship was slightly off with its calculations, where Hal Jordan never got to meet Abin Sur, and where Themyscira remained undiscovered.
