Tanya and Akansha are friends sharing a flat in Mumbai. The story opens with Tanya returning from a vacation to the horrifying scene of her flat mate's corpse lying in a pool of blood at home. She gets her boyfriend Ray to the flat immediately and together they call the police. Ajay, Akansha's secret admirer, is devastated by the news of her death. The Mumbai police investigates and declares it a case of suicide. As the case is getting wrapped up, Ajay fishes out a brilliant piece of evidence that changes the course of the investigation. The reader is then led into a gripping trail of twists and turns before the mystery is finally cleared.
