After a global viral pandemic wipes out over 80% of the world's population, the crew of 218 brave Lifes of the USS Nathan James (DDG-151) alone unaffected U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, must try to find a cure, stop the virus, and save humanity,
Lieutenant commander Rose Warry just promoted only a week before heading out what they thought was just a missile test, turns in to a Misson she and the rest of the crow will never forget, can she keep her head when she is asked to do things she never thought she would be asked to do.
And what would come of her and her commanding officer Tom Chandler, can she still follow the Navy Rules that she been following for the last 16 years or is it, Tom that breaks them for her.
I would just like to say that I do not own the Last ship or any of her crow the only person I own is Rose Warry, I would also like to add I do not know everything about the US Navy so please If I have done something wrong with ranking or anything else please do tell me and I will do my best to change my mistake, I want to have fun making this and hope that you all have fun reading this, I know not everyone will like it but I hope some of you do.

We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' . The ones who survived were the last of us. Will the people make it in time? What hardships will they encounter along the way?
