When Nina meets Damon, Stefan's older brother, she feels a connection with him. Could he feel it too ? Finding out that I'm the older brother to both of the female characters I adored watching through a TV screen was a true wake up call. After dying, might I add. To make it even better, those two, almost always got the shit end of the stick, while everyone else got their own version of a happy ending. One sister destined to suffer, while saving everyone else's back side. The other sister, had death waiting in the parking lot. News Flash: Death been there, done that. Suffering? Don't make me laugh. This just meant she had to be smarter and a bit more brutal towards her enemies so she could stay alive and keep the people she cared about safe.
