This story takes the place of a sixteen year old girl fighting for her and her sister. After their mother died of pneumonia and their father left them two years before, Elise and her younger sister find themselves in an escape to cross the Mexican border before CPS can get them. Once on the safe side of America they have one problem, trying to blend in like any normal American. With the help of their mother's old friend they will try to adapt to their new life. But of course there's problems. There always is. The anxiety of Immigration coming after them with a mix of the charming yet problematic boy next door....No biggy right?
