"Do you promise to love me?" She asked holding onto his chest. "You know this can't happen!" He whispered. His words saying one thing but his actions another. "Do you?" Her hands ran through his hair. Letting out a sigh of need he nodded his head. "Good. Then let's get married" she smiled letting go of him and walking out of the garden. Was this the right thing for him to do? What if that promise is not true? She never asked to be born on a strange island with a weird tribe. She never asked for strange rituals and weird laws. All she wanted was freedom. But that's the one thing they will never allow.

"What are you getting at son?" His father watched both of us warily. "She's not really My-" the word was about to slip out of his mouth. I wouldn't let it, the conscience in the back of my head wouldn't allow it. I acted on my instinct and gut. I grabbed him by his well tailored shirt and landed our first kiss. He stood there frozen and as did I. A couple of seconds passed u til I felt him melt into the kiss. I was still shocked by my sudden action, but I soon followed behind. Once we parted I turned to his awaiting father. "I'm not his girlfriend anymore, I'm his wife." I smiled
