Despite that law still holding true for the Kahuna of Ula'ula Island, Angeline Watanabe, a once apathetic member of the machine discovers the true horror of the culture she lived in by asking the simple question that ruins governments. Why?
The epitome of a corporatist in his public life, Luis Heidrich wants nothing more than to serve his company as its founder and CEO as well as exact revenge on those who created themselves to be an annoyance to him. With the spare pocket change to buy those in government and competition with other wealthy individuals to receive corporate welfare from the government, he makes the choice to sponsor the least influential of the four kahunas.
