Who I Really Am

"Hi, my name's Kimura, Akira. I moved from Kyoto. Although, I may look like a boy, I am a girl." I watched as the class eyed me with disapproving stares.
I knew this would happen, it always does. I've had to move schools every single year just to get away from the bullying.
This year was going to be different. I walked into the classroom, my eyes low.
"Class, we have a new student. Please introduce yourself."
I looked at the students and took a deep breath.
"Hi, my name's Kimura, Akira. I moved from Osaka." My high pitched voice filled the room. My whole body shook with nervousness.
The class smiled, not knowing the real me.
