"You're a good person, Peter. You save people." I just hope I could do the same.

"Thanks... And what about you? You're stopping what you saw, right? That's something."

I gave a half hearted smile, "Yeah... I'm just scared it won't be enough, you know?" I let my feet swing lightly and I felt Peter's hand brush my hair that had fallen, behind my ear. I turned my head to look at him.

"Don't beat yourself up about it, Case. Some things just can't be changed."

"I hope your wrong about that." I said softly.

We looked out into the distance once again, watching the trees sway, the people still walking around the park and hanging out and I felt my worries flow into the wind. I was never that heartfelt with Peter, in terms of sadness and such. I never cried in front of him until last week and I wasn't sure if that was because I didn't want to feel like I needed to be rescued, or because I knew how he'd feel to see me that way. I knew he cared...

Everything's different now, after the Giant War. So even after arriving home Percy can't tell anyone the truth; not his mom, not his new, rather odd, neighbor, not the friends that he's afraid to be close to. But the truth always hurts and somehow, the truth always shows. Maybe it's a good thing that his new neighbor, Peter Parker, is just a little too observant. Or maybe it isn't. Meanwhile the world is changing. New threats have risen and been defeated. But people are disappearing, people are dying. And even the people who are supposed to be heroes can't stop this. But that's sort of the point. Now though the darkness which Peter has always managed to keep at an arm's length is right outside his front door. Right inside it. Peter can't lose anyone else. Percy can't lose anyone else. Both are sure that if they do they're bound to lose themselves. Now though loss isn't and if but a when. Not a when but how much. Neither of them plan on getting out of this one. Both are sure that there must be someone at fault. But innocence and guilt mean nothing in this blame game, because with all this hurt, with all this death, with all this pain, isn't everyone somehow to blame? And maybe they aren't so different, Peter and Percy. Maybe they can find a way to work together, fight together, stop this together. After Peter had been bitten by a spider and the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter became Spider-man. Living with his Aunt May, going to high school as a sophomore and at night saving the people of Queens from Robberies, Kidnappings and some of Spider-mans enemies. One day Peter comes home to see his Aunt May shot and killed just like his Uncle Ben. Peter was then taken to an Orphanage where he was neglected by the care takers only a few kids try to help him make it through his time in the Orphanage. But sadly over the time of three months Peter slowly stopped talking, the schools therapist that was in charged of helping Peter to talk again. Tony and Pepper are wanting to adopt a kid thinking that having a kid will help keep the other's from having another 'Civil war' issue. So that is what they did, going to the closest Orphanage in Queens. When they first lay their eyes on Peter they knew that he was special and that he was the one. Everything was going great but all good things must come to an end. Will Peter make it out of his depressed state or will he be forever lost in his depression.
