An Academy Fan-fiction, in which we explore a life where Sang Sorenson got to live the dream, alongside living a nightmare.
Sang Sorenson lives two lives:
During the school year, Sang lives with her doting Mama and her brusque Papa.
During the summer's though, those are the days Sang dreads.
The summers are when Sang lives with a sharp-tongued 'mother', a mean jealous sister, and a creepy 'father.'

Auroura Diana is worried. Due to a breach in a morality clause in her surrogate contract, Auroura Diana lost full custody of her daughter and has to share her special little girl with the Sorenson's.
Auroura knows something is going on in the Sorenson's home, because her sweet shy daughter comes back every summer with a little less glimmer and shine....and she's sick to her stomach imagining why.
So, she gets in contact with some friends and asks for a favor in exchange for a favor. And in the process, she sets her daughter up to meet the soul mates Sang was always meant to have.
A sweet, short story of unconventional romance and what-if's.
The Academy character's are not mine, but are instead owned by the talented and amazing C.L. Stone. I only own the plot and few original characters, as will be pointed out.

Then, late one Sunday night someone comes through her line with more apple pie than one man should be able to eat. And after a close call at home, she seeks help at a diner that recently opened down the street. It's been over a year since the Blackbourne team shattered into three separate teams, and they've all been dealing with the aftermath of a broken family. Though the new Lee and Taylor teams have done well for themselves, things just aren't the same. Then Sean stops by a little mom-and-pop grocery store after a long shift and discovers their bakery section. Kota and Nate take Jess bra shopping, and the cutest girl they've ever seen intervenes when they are less than helpful. Just when you think you have to go it alone, sometimes you find help along the way. Sang Sorenson is a sheltered rich girl whose life is a lot more rough than most believe. Her entire life has consisted of abuse from her step-mother, and overbearing older brothers who would do anything to shelter her from the world. But when she transfers to public school and meets a group of nine guys who have her living on the wild side, she's finally found a place she can escape. The group of boys make her feel things she's never felt before, and she's willing to put it all on the line for them, and they're willing to do the exact same for her. Except, they just might have to in order to get through the war that is about to be started.
