Didi was born to a villain who taught her to seek power above all, but raised by books that taught her about more important things: friendship, justice, and pretty boys. When she and her brother Dominic run away from their mother and her cult, Didi sees it as her chance to be the hero she always wanted to be. But the road to heroism is neither well-lit nor smoothly-paved. And in real life, it's a lot harder than in books to discern between right and wrong, and friends and foes. Sometimes it seems that being a hero means there are some things she has to just not think about. Like, her employer having an underground torture chamber. And her brother, her closest confidant, suddenly lying to her face all the time. And how she still has seven younger siblings at the mercy of her mother, and absolutely no idea how to save them. An open fanfiction set in the world of the Forgotten Realms. Updates twice a month.

Once my mum held unrivaled fame and power as a guild member, commanding respect across the world. Then, unexpectedly, my parents left London for the tranquil beauty of the Lake District. Now, on the cusp of my 13th birthday, we are returning to London, to the heart of my parents' former guild. This means I will attend the prestigious school they once graced. But beyond this, I am on the brink of a pivotal event - a Reveal Day. At 13, we undergo a ceremony where our elemental magic is unveiled, determining our destiny, education, and path in life. Yet, life in the countryside is no idyllic retreat. It harbors peril, with monstrous creatures and dangerous animals lurking, some with bounties on their heads, requiring the intervention of guilds to eliminate them. P.s I asked the A. to create my book cover how cool does that look 😁
