It wasn't supposed to happen this way...Stefan's blood was supposed to heal Brianna, and instead, she died anyways, beginning her transition into the one thing she never wanted to be..a vampire.
Of course, with all the hardships she's already faced in life, when this came about, she did the thing she does best...run. Off to Bear Rock she went, where the nightmare had started in the first place.
Her ex husband had abused her here...which is what prompted her to move to Mystic Falls in the first place. She was never supposed to discover vampires...fall for one..or two, and become one herself, but that's what happened.
