Ilora's world was ending; literally. However, humanity has been given a second chance that at first seems too good to be true. Her shattered heart also seems to have found its pieces in the hands of an unusual male. Is true utopia unrealistic, or will she have a chance at peace, healing, and eternal love? ‼️ *tw; mention of suicide attempt will span first few chapters*‼️ *temporary cover art by me*

What would happen if emotions became socially unacceptable? If love made people nervous? If laughter drew too much attention? If sadness was hidden to survive? Selene spent her entire life growing up in this society, learning to look unaffected whilst everything explodes inside. Every reaction is observed, measured, and quietly judged before it becomes a problem. In this society, people are rewarded for being obedient, predictable and quiet. She is none of those things. When she begins speaking to someone she was never supposed to find, the conversations feel harmless at first. Then necessary. Then dangerous. The person she finds speaks to the parts of her that the world has taught her to silence, and once she experiences that kind of connection, she cannot stop wanting more of it. But once she tastes the possibility of genuine connection, there's no going back.
