It's not based on a true story it's about a boy who had witnessed his mom get hurt and try to look after her family but her family don't know she's sick. P.s I know that there are alot of Louis fans out there just to let you know the story is made up so if I said louis has brothers and sisters in this book and maybe in real life he doesn't hope you like it.
