She wished the world would just stop. She wanted time to slow down and allow her to look around her for a while. She wanted to see the world through the eyes of a god, to make them see how terrible their creation had become.
But the world wouldn't stop. Time just seemed to slide by faster than it ever had before. And there weren't any gods. All that was left was broken and angry.
The world had ended, but Kyla was still there.
And the strangest thing was...
The death of everyone else only brought her back to life.
