As she cornered him, he looked behind himself and through the open window. The train was old, not going too fast- he'd survive jumping out. In a last effort, he pushed the ominous spirit back, turned around as he heard her fall and jumped off the train, rolling as he hit the damp ground... Written for the #linatayspooky Halloween contest. Word count: 1999 :D
