A Legend Reborn.
The Golden Age- When the Traveler arrived, a time of peace, prosperity, and infinite possibility sprouted from Earth. Mankind had launched hundreds- if not, thousands- of journeys across the system, connecting Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, even Mercury into an increasingly large web of life and technology. Fast forward to the end of the Golden Age- The Collapse and the Dark Age- alien races surge forth from outside the system- the Eliksni, the Hive, The Cabal, The Vex- all coming for the Traveler. The Hunters scout out terrain, reclaim Dead Zones, and are the eyes and ears of the City- the Warlocks research the secrets of the fundamental ideas of the Darkness, predict future events, and enthrall themselves in the workings of the Light to understand it and to find new ways to work it into the Guardians arsenal- and finally, the Titans, Defenders of the Last City, and the burning lights of hope in the shadows. Honor-driven. Leaders. Warriors. The Protectors of Humanity. Deeply intertwined in the history of the Last City. What happens when one is reborn and becomes one of the few able to wield the flame of hope as his own, to burn off the shackles of darkness that have been crushing humanity's will and hope to dust, What happens when he experiences so much tragedy, so much pain, that he delves into the shadows? What happens, when he finally snaps? And what happens to his loved ones when they are forced to put him down? Olympus was attacked by the darkness. All the gods died trying to defend themselves. Even Zeus was powerless. The Olympians died and a new God came. The Traveler. With his light he created the Guardians. Dead people were reborn as guardians and with Traveler's light they go against the darkness. But darkness is really powerful and the Traveler needs help. So, he creates a special ghost. A ghost looking like the others but far more powerful. A ghost which is fated to reborn a God. Artemis, one of the most powerful Olympians, daughter of Zeus and Lyto, big Apollo's twin sister, Goddess of the Hunt is reborn by that ghost. They both know nothing about their powers, their past or their destiny. Artemis, like all the Guardians, forgets her past. She doesn't hate men and she remembers nothing about her virginity vow. With the other gods dead, this oath means nothing. [Read at your own risk. Doesn't exactly conform to the storyline. Has triggers such as physical, emotional and mental abuse, cussing, violence, alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, depression, and smut, gore, and horror elements. I do not own Bungie or its characters or some scenarios, just the ones I come up with. This story is told from different POV's. ] "I've shown you benevolence, Guardian. Should the Awoken ever need an ally, I will call on you. And expect you to answer." Mara Sov said. Uldren sheathed his knife. "She's saying you owe us, Guardian." Uldren said with a bit of a growl, looking at her with dislike. "I understand. Your Grace" she said, bowing her head before turning to leave, two corsairs escorting her out. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She's known by many names. The things she's done are terrifying, monstrous even. Unstable. Unpredictable. Untamed. Unruly. Untrustworthy. Murderer That's what many say about her. Yet some see her as a hero. Cayde is trying to convince her and the others different. He sees good in her. Uldren Sov hated her guts but gradually came to like her. He's trying to convince himself it's nothing. The Last Flame
Christian looked down from the creature looming before him at the gun in his holster. Engraved on its side were the words, "Until the last flame dies and all words have been spoken" "It's time to draw guardian, one last time." The hunter looked up at his ghost then looked back down again, "Ya know, I always thought it was called 'The Last Word' because it ensured the wielder he'd get it, but I think I understand now... It's my Last Word." And with that, he put his hand on his holster and stared death in the face, without fear or hesitation. He glanced back at his ghost before it disappeared, "Then let's make it one hell of a draw."Terminé

The missing vanguard
When the warlock and titian vanguard are defeated in battle and captured. A very unimpressed hunter vanguard has to take up the role of leading. He has to lead the guardians to save his mentors before it is too late. Will time stay on his side? Or was it just a little too fast for him? Legends Never Die
"You're not brave, you've merely forgotten the fear of death...Allow me to reacquaint you." The words wouldn't leave her head... Ghaul's mocking tone, the way he looked down at her like she was nothing but an ant beneath his boot with his eyes narrowed and stance radiating a smug triumph that made the Young Wolf grit her teeth and clench her jaw even days after the fact. His words though wasn't what caused her anger, even if they did send a pang of, something through her body. She ignored that (like she always did) and focused on the matter at hand for now, (for her feelings didn't matter; they never would.) Ghaul had invaded her home, the home of her people and captured the Traveler right from under their noses. He slaughtered her people, killed all who hadn't evacuated and he not once cared for the amount of innocent lives he took. The blood of men, women and children who just wanted to live in peace... He had killed all who stood in his way, and The Guardian hadn't been able to stop him from doing so... She had failed...she was right there before him and had fallen down on her knees, too exhausted to get back up and fight without her Light. (She was Weak...a failure...a coward...) The Titan could still feel the phantom pain coursing through her body in the aftermath of the attack, when she had woken up barely alive without her powers back in the city but now, sitting around her small camp as she finally took a break after days of walking that did nothing but fuel her anger. She'd find a way to stop the Red Legion, find a way to kill Ghaul with or without the Light even if it was the last thing she did. -OR: The Red War begins; The Young Wolf is pissed, never before has she failed like this, failed to protect her people but the Guardian is willing to do whatever it takes to make things right, even at the expense of her own health.Terminé
