Anissa Edgehill had a decent life. She wasn't from the richest family but they had enough for what they needed. Sure sometimes it was a hassel not having that extra money, like when she was a high school senior without a cell phone. But she had her family and that was all she needed.

Anissa's mom had raised her and her twin sisters alone ever since her dad left shortly after her sisters had been born. That was nearly ten years ago. Her mom had been dating again for a few years. After a few duds her mom had finally found someone who made her happy. Anissa liked the guy for that reason alone except she had never even met him. All she knows is that his name is Yaser and he has one son and three daughters.

Now her mom is engaged to this mystery man and wants Anissa and her sisters to meet their soon to be step father and step siblings.
