Maci is kind of a player, even if she does have a girlfriend (well, sometimes has a girlfriend; they're THAT couple).

Mia is the quiet new girl that just so happens to be in all of Maci's classes.

And they just so happen to get partnered up for a project. And they just so happen to catch feelings for each other while working on that project.

Things go well, but when tensions rise at home for one, and a jealous ex-girlfriend is hellbent on getting her revenge on the other, both of their lives are flipped around unexpectedly and they must learn to stick together, or completely fall apart.
