In the year 4872, all that remains of the planet Earth, is a city the size of a very small country with a giant, uncrossable wall around it. With ten Leaders, all the choices are up to them. They won't even let the residents choose their own future. Including seventeen year old Arin Keland. Arin gets the most perfect life anyone could ask for; an amazing husband, large mansion, lots of money, anything she wanted would be hers. But that's not what she wants. Could this mysterious stranger truly give her what she wants?

Elena has just been hired as an executive secretary at a large tech company. Specialized in making security systems and chips. The CEO of the company is known to be a very dominant man. Elena is not the first executive secretary the company has seen. Most quickly resigned because they could not work with Mr. Smith. It's her first day. Elena takes a seat at 7:45 am behind a desk near the door of the CEO's office. Mr. Smith's office. She is nervous about meeting Mr. Smith. She doesn't want to make any mistakes on her first day. 7:59 am. The elevator doors open. She looks straight into the bright blue eyes of a man who is talking loudly on the phone. In his hand a leather briefcase. His dark blue uniform matches perfectly with his dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. Elena is distracted for a moment. If he had looked at Elena for even one second, he would have seen her staring at him in admiration. But he doesn't even notice her. He immediately walks to the door to enter his office. The only thing he snaps at her while on the phone: "Espresso please." and during those words he throws a stack of papers on her desk. The first day with Mr. Smith has begun... ~~~NB! In the depths of this zombie apocalypse 17 year old Ryan has survived through it all where his family hasn't been as lucky. Scavenging all he can find, his world revolves around one basic, cruel fact - that any day could be his last. But then the impossible happens. Suddenly his world changes and all around him feelings and people he never knew existed slice through his heart like an icy razor. He sees things that he only ever heard in fairy tales or even the world before, things that he thought were impossible. Can he stay alive long enough to save his friends from the insanity of Boss? DISCLAIMER: In almost ALL chapters- Self Harm, suicidal thoughts, mental illness, smut...If any of this bothers you, be careful reading it please. Alex, a lonely 17 year old with a heart problem and a lot of anxiety is hated by nearly everyone in his school. It was stupid, he knew that, but his anxiety and depression told him otherwise.
