18 year old Grace Young visits her older sister Emily in La Push for winter break. There, amongst the misty cedar forests and rugged coastline of the Olympic Peninsula, she meets Paul Lahote. He's handsome, hotheaded and complex, and everyone warns her away from him - yet he seems to be just as enamoured with her as she is with him. But she only has 2 weeks to figure out why she feels so connected to Paul before winter break ends, and she must leave La Push to go home. But has 'home' changed within those two weeks?

story starts near the beginning of new moon timeline. mature content such as swearing and violence will be present throughout story, as well as sexual content further on as the story progresses.

will mostly follow canon, except for the fact i'm aging Paul/Jared up by a few years (they'll be 20) and Sam too (22) and Jacob/Quil/Embry (17) as the fact they're all meant to be like 15/16 when new moon starts squicks me out lmao.
